If only every Saturday went like this…
Vice Versa. 25, tall, lithe, great smile, dimples. Shockingly blue eyes. Actress/Waitress. Snow caused train delays for my line, so she was waiting 45 minutes for me at the restaurant, our table given away. She’s cool with it. Very laid back. I love her laugh.
After some drinks at the bar, Manager gets us a new table. Italian restaurant. High class but kinda cheesy. Place is mostly older folks. Lots of birthdays. A guy plays “happy birthday” on the violin each time. Used a groupon for 2 appetizers, a 4.5 pound lobster fra diavolo over linguine, 2 desserts and a bottle of wine: 75 bucks. Great deal. Wanted to get there early and pay with it beforehand to seem suaver. Whatev.
We close out the restaurant talking. I don’t even remember what about but it flowed beautifully. Always engaged, playful, charming, great back and forth. She has a dorky side. Likes Brian Greene and quantum chromodynamics. Is definitely better read than me. Which is hot. They’re starting to vacuum so we leave. Make the kiss while we’re walking outside. Take the Roosevelt Island tram because she never has. Schedule date 2 for Thursday, I bump Brooklyn Italian Chef who hasn’t gotten back to me yet. Say goodnight. I crash at old roommate’s place. Watch new season of Spartacus. Threesome involving Lucy Lawless and that crazy/evil chick from season 2 of Dexter. This show is awesome.
