Is it weird how satisfied I am knowing that someone I respect would have set me up with someone if I were single?  I’m not as outwardly crazy as I think!

playing games, a match, and love

Have a tennis date tonight with Appleton.  Fun with exes!

It seems we’ve had the prerequisite amount of talk about our relationship conquests since each other that we can be friends now.  Which is nice, because he lives pretty close and is always up for tennis or soccer.  And he’s moving across the country later this year so not a moment too soon!

What is it about that talk about other people you’ve dated/are dating prerequisite though?  I mean, I totally need it too.  I’m not saying it’s only been imposed on me by other guys.  But why do we not have in it ourselves to be like “so this relationship is over now” and go onto being friends or not-friends immediately after? 

Also, isn’t it amazing how many people (assuming you’re not with your high school sweetheart) you date, thinking they’re amazing, we’re amazing, and things are happening (!) that don’t work?  Are we so gullible?

Or maybe that’s just me… :-)

Been trying to get Office Spouse to date other people, but I’m finally at a point where I’d actually be jealous and can’t think of it as being part of the greater good.
